"Wag´n Bietjie" is the Afrikaans name for an indigenous thorn tree.
Translated into English it means "linger a while". This tree has very sharp, hooked thorns, When you walk past it, its thorns hook your clothes so that you are stopped in your tracks and have to reverse to unhook yourself to "linger a while", as the name implies "linger a while" is our motto.
You are on business/holiday, we would like you to slow down and enjoy a relaxed stay in our very spacious and comfortable units.
Two fully equipped air-conditioned comfortable self catering units or B&B, located on top of a hill within an indigenous forest adjoining the Moreleta spruit. Wake up to bird song. Central situated to the city, hospitals, University of Pretoria, Botanical Gardens and CSIR. Easy access to N4 highway via the Watermeyer on/off ramp.
Facilities:
Unit 1: Separate own entrance, includes air-conditioner, DStv, on suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, including stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all utensils. Leads onto a wooden deck where you can relax and enjoy the forested garden and identify dozens of different birds flitting between the trees.
Unit 2: Separate own entrance, includes air-conditioner, DStv, open plan sitting room, bedroom, partially equipped kitchenette, including, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all crockery and cutlery for two people and on suite bathroom. Leads onto a veranda where you can relax and enjoy the forested garden from within the tree tops.
Secure off road parking.
Rates:
Single R350, Double R450 (R225 sharing) per night for self catering, continental breakfast R70 per person. Occupation of more than 7 days - discount can be negotiated.
