Treetop Experience
Teniqua treetops is a beautiful nature lovers’ resort, with 8 gorgeous hand-crafted, self-catering, eco-friendly treetop suites hidden in the indigenous forest. Each suite creatively combines wood glass and canvas to create a unique luxury holiday hideout.

Teniqua Treetops is a tented treetop resort hidden in the indigenous forest. Each tree house is fully equipped and self-catering. The treetops are all self-contained with their own kitchens, bedrooms, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, leafy bathrooms and fantastic views.

Property Facilities:
Fantastic onsite indigenous forest and river walks. Each Treetop provides spectacular bird watching opportunity with views of the Karatara gorge. The communal area has both a pool and a solar heated splash pool. The Entertainment area has a Pool table, Fooseball and Table Tennis, including board games and DSTV. Entertainment for the kids includes a Jungle gym and Trampoline. Poolside snack baskets can be ordered from reception and kids activity packs for those raining days are available to purchase. The onsite Curio shop offers artworks by well know South African artist Charlotte Firbank-King.

Area Information:
We are situated between Knysna and Sedgefield, on the Garden Route, South Africa. Each Treetop suite is built on the indigenous forest edge with access to the Karatara river and use of the rock pools. We are 5 km’s from SANparks Nature Reserve, 35km’s from George and 30km’s from Knysna.

In Room Facilities:
The kitchens all have fridges,gas cookers, microwave oven and Weber BBQ (coal and brikkette only) on the deck. The bedrooms combine antique and rustic furniture with electric blankets and heaters in winter, fans in summer.

The closest town to us is Sedgefield, which has large beaches, a fantastic Saturday morning market, restaurants and paragliding. There are a wide variety of activities along the Garden Route, from horse-riding to quad biking, canoeing and sailing the options are endless. A short trip further along the Garden Route allows you to explore The Knysna Elephant Park, Radical Raptors, and the Wolf Sanctuary.
